Be Warriors

Hi my young netizens,

Happy that many of  you have reacted and expressed your appreciation.

This time I want to talk to you about swine flu.

You are aware that the entire media in the world is making it a very serious issue. Of course, health is a serious issue. But when health is attacked artificially, the fighting tools should be different. Who creates such artificial viruses? What for? Searching for the answers will make you better equipped to deal properly with the manipulations of history.

Till the middle of previous century, governments used to keep their citizens in control utilising the machinery of war. Later it was terrorism. But of late its sting is diluted. People are taking it as a natural disaster.

Hence the virus terrorism.

First it was anthrax, then it was bird flu and since they died before creating the necessary impact, now it is swine flu. Since you already know enough about its effects I will skip it and will alert you of countering possibilities. First come out of your fear. Understand one thing : fear attracts the devil and courage deflects it. This applies to guns, poverty, goondas, politicians and manipulative pharmaceuticals. Seriously, the only way to develop courage is to become warriors.

Who are warriors? How to become warriors? I will address these questions next time.

For now to counter swine flu or any virus for that matter, keep your body temperature a bit high by eating two cloves of garlic, a small piece of ginger and half a tablespoon of honey.

First of all congrats for starting this blog. I always wanted to communicate with you since i started reading AGNI in 1998. Thanks a million for creating this media. I have attended almost all of your functions held in Bangalore. I am awestruck reading the wide variety of articles you have written in AGNI. sir, i deeply appreciate your write ups in Agni last and this week. you come out very sincere and you had to write it. No doubt there is a lot of talk on both BKS’s column and your reply. but i personally like to believe you. you are a man of substance whereas BKs is nothing but fizz. Dont worry about reaching out. it will happen when and as it has to happen - i mean between Agni and Prajavani. Agni was not available anywhere by Friday. And today also.
when you wrote your story it was the ripe time and now it is far too late for BKS to be writing because there is no purpose to his writing whereas you had a purpose when you wrote your story. He has an agenda. But you paved a way like an elephant and now ants like BKS are attempting to imitate you.
    with deep regards
    yours sincerely

    sir,
i read about your reply to the column being written by bks which is definitely of very poor standards and with no content but i think it was a response to what you wrote about bks in your autobiographical note.
i also agree and disagree with the fact that prajavani papers administration is behaving as a casteism ridden one because even your paper publishes a lot of dirty stuffs which very much instigates casteism in society ,
a very good example for that is the poll survey reports that you publish where in you conclude the results based on the population of dominant caste in the constituency(caste is a imaginary thing since it cant be eaten, read, felt, wore like a dress or sensed like the fragrance of flowers.)
i belong to rajajinagar constituency and in poll survey in the last assembly elections you had concluded that congress candidate padmavathi would win since there are large number of vokkaligas in the constituency but i being informed that i belong to a imaginary line called vokkaliga voted a SUCI party candidate and all my family members voted a bjp candidate who is a brahmin and thus he succeded to win with a reasonable margin.
now arent you a casteism insect?
if you are really commited to vanish the class difference in the society then stop publishing these dirty poll projections and something about vishwamanava sandesha and basavanna social reformation and about buddha not about buddhism because buddhism again is not a relegion he dint preach any relegion or order any one to follow any god or do rituals but i was shocked to see that in the name of buddha they are practising a relegion and there are lot of rituals being carried out if you want to see all these go to bylukuppe where a lot of superstitious rituals are carried out daily
if a person respects buddhas principle then he is a vishwa manava but he doesnt belong to buddhism as dalai lama and other pseudo buddhist,
Dr.ambedkar is a true vishwa manava i don why he at the fag end of his life fell prey to these pseudo buddhists and many of the dalit outfits should announce that they dont have relegion and caste and they are vishwa manavas but they are giving a lot of focus on these things.
the other thing which i have to order (i used the word order because of the gurubhakti and love that i have towards you and your views) is that if you are really commited towards a equality based society then please get rid of using any word that synonyms or give the meaning of caste because i dont want you to be another balaganagadhara swamiji type of person (does that swamiji have any guts to co operate to a girl from vokkaliga community marrying a boy from a holeya community, i feel very bad to use these two words(vokkaliga and holeya) , i wrote about this particular swamiji because my friend who is immaginarily classified into holeya community loves a vokkaliga girl but the girls parents who are disciples of this swamiji are obstructing it).

    Mr Santosh

YOu surely are a person totally confused. Not only that but also very presumptuous. YOu have neither understood Mr Sreedhar nor have you a firm stand of your own about religion, politics, caste, love, marriage, swamijis and even history etc. YOu have no idea about what it is being a vishwamanava. Have you anyone simple sandesha of any of the great personalities you have named? ( you dont even ponder a minute as to why Mr Sreedhar replied to BKS but hurry to draw conclusions) anyway your rattling is like a small child attempting to teach a mother about feeding. Anyway since the mother knows and loves the child she only smiles /laughs and takes it in her stride, even enjoys it. Similarly, Mr Sreedhar will not only tolerate you but also attempt to enlighten you. Be it so. In the pretext of answering you we all will be feasted by his thoughts. i would love that.

    mr.shakthi,
i am open to your comments since mukthathe is what a premi and kavi needs
but i am proud to inform you that i dont have any caste and religion (jathi dharma bittavanu nanu ), according to me both sreedhar and bks are passengers of same boat(onde doniyali prayanisutiruvavaru) in a river which can be metaphorically concluded as society.
i am also aware of the fact that a personality with great persona always has 50% of the people following or agreeing with his views and the rest 50% condemning it or 51% agreeing with it while 49% disagreeing with it or vice versa,
i dont want to either praise or condemn what sreedhar has written about bks, its better for both of them not to involve themselves in kesarerchata because whatever both may have written about each other, the ultimatum they get from it is that they loose their credibility

    sreedhar sir,
i want to pose a question in front of you
if any one who doesnt know more about you enquire about your caste what would you say in reply,
i asked this question because so many people used to ask me all these things and i would in a lighter vein answer “naan veg” jaathi which would mean that i am vegetarian if they understand the the first part of the phrase as naanu (me) and it would mean that i am non vegetarian if they understand the first word in phrase as non later if they still ask that we asked your caste not whether you are veg or non veg, i would soon reply that i am an untouchable for people who enquire about my caste because i dont have any caste.
also i have a main intention behind asking this question that is you have at so many places and columns said that you are a vokkaliga, isnt it a shameful activity for anyone who loves literature to talk about caste since literature always brings in whole heartedness(vishalathe).

    Dear Santhosh,

I think you are too much obsessed with casteism. There is no need to hide your caste and walk around wearing a mask like a coward. Casteism rules our society; accept it. There is no use in endless discussions. Buddha, Basava, kuvempu etc etc fought against it invain. First we have to fight against Religion and bogus Gods not caste. Once the world is free of this evil, most of our problems will be solved. Please try to understand my friend, people who created religion, created castes. Not vice versa. First, Lets remove the root. Automatically caste will go away, disappear.

i totally agree with mr vijay. you are nothing but a lowly krimi. you dont knwo both Agni Sreedhar or BKS. what do you mean by “kesarerachata”? and “credibility”? I think you are a plant by the opposite camp. and your post show you are not to be taken seriously.

    shameful to you, yes, definitely.

Please tuck your bala between your legs and go back and report to whoever who has asked you to post your comments that people like you get exposed as soon as you open your mouth.

    dear shakthi
i now can analyse that you people are not open minded, you are definitely people of “sankuchitha manobhavane”
your thought process is very frightening “vidyavanthru vishalavagi yochane madbeku”
but you are thinking in opposite manner as a illetrate i think you watch a lot of telgu movies thats why you are acting as a cynic and thinking cinematically that i am a spy from bks group, one thing you must note is that i have personally not met both sreedhar and bks but the thing is you people are definitely honna shoola (hogulekeya honna sheela) and dont even think of the welfare of agni sreedhar if you really respect sreedhar then why dont you allow and keep open your mind to vimarshe .
you are definitely a bandavala villada badaayi however i wish you all the best because its what mother theresa and buddha have said( love everyone)
as due to global warming and pollution all our life span is getting reduced, the time period which i myself have stipulated for this love is not enough how can i waste time by indulging in malliciuos activities as such

i see the exchange of words between you and me as that between a “secular and sickular”
you are definitely a ’sick’ular minded person , so i want to end the exchange of views with you as moving with a person who has fell sick will definitely cause sickness.
your thoughts and views are mutations of viruses such as casteism, factionalism,
communalism, feudalism its far more dangerous than h1n1 virus to the society

Santhosh the most open hearted person and broad minded person on the face of this planet is a seed planted here not from BKS camp but by kappu sundari Belagere camp. Why he should be pained so much by your comments, if he so open minded, i really dont understand. He is contradicted himself. Lets not take him seriously.

i hope that there is a good poet inside santhosh, even though his views are very insane and totally confusing, he may be definitely compared to tughlak he is very confused and just potrys tughlak in every thought that he has shared, the best thing that can be done with him is to be counseled by none other than our agni sreedhar itself because i think that mr.sridhar has the capacity to bring into the track the persons like santhosh who think that they are right and the whole society around them doing all misdeeds and they act as if they are Mr.perfect and dont respect the other persons point of view, i think he definitely dont know the caliber of mr.sridhar thats why he has committed a grave mistake of comparing our agni sridhar with bks.
